agency

Each medical provider in the BCCP is an agency.

An agency can have one or more sites associated with it. For example, a medical group may have several clinics that operate in different locations. The agency is the entire group; the individual clinics are sites.

alias

In the BCCP Web Data Sysem, an alias is a alternative way to record a client's first or last name to make searching for a client record easier. Aliases for a first name can be used to record variations on a client's given name, such as Kate, Kathy, Cathy and Catherine for someone named Kathryn. Aliases for a last name can be used to make searches for client's who have hyphenated surnames or who have changed surnames easier. The Web Data System allows you to record up to four aliases for first and last names for each client.
