How to get a BCCP Web Data System user name and password
The BCCP Web Data System is designed for use by medical providers, enrolling and ancillary, who have signed Medical Service Agreements with BCCP.
To receive a user name and password:
- Your agency must complete, sign, and return a Medical Services Agreement (MSA) to BCCP.
- You must complete and sign a Confidentiality Agreement to confirm that you will use the BCCP Web Data System responsibly and that you will keep your user name and password confidential. A copy of the form can be found in Appendix A: Request a User Name and Password.
- Fax a Request to Create User Account form to to Ahlers and Associates at (254) 755-0267. A copy of the form can be found in Appendix A: Request a User Name and Password.
Log in to the BCCP Web Data System
To log in to the Web Data System:
- Launch a Web browser, such as Internet Explorer.
note The BCCP Web Data System will run under any Web browser. Browsers have a wide range of security settings and capabilities, and you may have to adjust certain security settings for your browser to use this system.
- Go to the page https://secure.ahlerssoftware.com/BCC.
The Sign-in to Oregon BCC System page appears.
- In the User Name box, type your assigned user name.
- In the Password field, enter your password. Passwords are case sensitive, ("A"versus "a").
note When you log in for the first time, you need to enter the password that you were assigned. You can change your password if you like. For instructions, see Change your password.
- Click Login.
If your login is associated with an agency that has more than one site, the following screen appears.
Navigate in the BCCP Web Data System
When you open the BCCP Web Data System, the Home page appears.
Home page
Moving through the BCCP Web Data System application is easy. Buttons across the top of the page and in the Actions menu are used to access different features of the program or perform an action. The forward, back, and print features of your browser are also available within the BCCP Web Data System.
To select a section of the system from the Home page:
Actions menu
The Actions menu lists activities that can be performed on the currently selected record or on the currently displayed page.
The list of activities is context-sensitive and changes depending on the section of the Web Data System that currently appears on the screen.
To select an option from the Actions menu:
Print Tree
The Print Tree is a hierarchical view of the selected client's history. You can use the tree to quickly navigate to any record listed in the tree by clicking on it, display a list of records, or print a list of records.

Return to the Home page
To go back to the BCCP Web Data System home page:
End a Session
When you are finished with a session using the BCCP Web Data System, you should log out of the system.

Timeouts
If the system is idle for more than 20 minutes while you are logged in, it will time out for patient confidentiality and HIPAA security reasons. Any data that were entered but not saved before the timeout will be lost, so be sure to save your data before leaving the system idle. The following message appears when a timeout occurs.

System Maintenance
The BCCP Web Data System is occasionally unavailable, for example, during times when system maintenance is performed or when billing cycles are processed (which occurs every two weeks). Maintenance and billing cycles are usually scheduled outside of normal Pacific Time business hours. When the system is unavailable, a message appears when you try to log on. Wait for a while and then try to log on again.
